We went to three different pubs yesterday, and abandoned pints in each one. They were either too warm, too bland or (in one very sad case) too like asparagus Cup-a-Soup.
Some days it just doesn’t work out.
We gave up on trying to get a good pint and went to see In the Loop in the evening. That, at least, was very good.
Not naming names then? Aw. Go on.
Yes, name and shame!
One of them was a pub we’ve enjoyed in the past that was clearly having an off day; the others were anonymous London pubs we chose at random and whose names now escape us.
The problem with off piste drinking I suppose.
