I know that feeling. ’tis a special beer to evoke that feeling of ‘fuck it’. I remember early last year sitting in the Maltings in York with Jon of Random Rambling fame, enjoying quite possibly the best pint of Fuller’s London Porter in excellent condition. Wonderful. I can still remember the frenzied sprint to the train station now. ..

Will be there in a couple of weeks, at the start of a little Sheffield beer expedition – precipitated by the re-opening of the Gardener’s Rest, one of my favourite pubs ever. Can’t wait.
